Silicon Neuroma for PvE and PvP (2022)

0

Silicon Neuroma is the re-released Destiny 2 Sniper Rifle, which was brought back with The Witch Queen expansion in February. Typically, the weapon is added to any season’s Nightfall pool, where players can perform a certain mission to drop the gear. This is an aggressive framed loadout, which hits harder than most snipers in the game.

Silicon Neuroma was considered a decent DPS option for elite enemies and late game bosses due to the perks it can roll with. As a kinetic weapon, it can also pave the way for powerful energy exotics and add cleanup primaries (additional enemies).

The following article will guide you through the best perks required on the Silicon Neuroma sniper rifle in Destiny 2 PvP and PvE.

Best Perk Combination on Silicon Neuroma Sniper Rifle for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP (2022)

1) Usage and how to get it

Silicon Neuroma has a high usage rate for Destiny 2 PvP and PvE. Due to the aggressive frame archetype, players can pull it off in both game modes. Unlike Adaptive Frame’s lower damage output in PvE, Silicon Neuroma provides all-around support in endgame activities , whether it’s Grandmaster Nightfall or Trials of Osiris.

To acquire this sniper rifle, players can head inside the Devil’s Lair Nightfall right now and complete it to platinum level. However, with Grandmaster Nightfall slated for next month, Silicon Neuroma’s Adept version will be available to everyone at a later date.

The only drawback of the aggressive frame sniper rifle is its low stability and maneuverability. However, none of the mentioned stats are necessary for one of the most damage-dealing archetypes. While players don’t miss much due to the lack of maneuverability and stability, it’s still a bonus to have them somehow.

2) PvE Divine Throw

Sniper Rifles with Champion mods is one of the deadliest loadouts in Nightfalls and Raids. Because of this, Season of the Plunder gave players the option to use the weapon type against Barrier Champions, as higher damage means quick stuns on enemy champions.

The Aggressive Frame Sniper Rifle is the best choice for single-shot barriers in Master’s Lost Sectors, Grandmaster’s Raid, and Nightfalls. The only other weapons capable of this are the Exotic Arbalest Linear Fusion Rifle and the Wish Ender Bow.

Therefore, Silicon Neuroma is one of the best gear not only for DPS, but also for controlling champions.

Silicon Neuroma’s best perks for Destiny 2 PvE are:

  • Small bore for stability and reach.
  • Mag added for additional ammo to the magazine.
  • Triple tap for 1 turn on the magazine after continuous precision shots.
  • Line of Fire for a 20% increase in damage when near two or more allies.

For a more solo approach, a Focused Fury is a good option, as it provides the same amount of damage buff after firing 50% magazine.

3) PvP Divine Throw

Players would be lying if they didn’t say that Silicon Neuroma is cumbersome to use in PvP. While the adaptive frame sniper’s utilization rate still tops the charts, this particular weapon with its clear range and zoom has become a fan favorite inside the Crucible.

The best perk combinations in Silicon Neuroma for Destiny 2 PvP are as follows:

  • Rifling corkscrew for added stability, reach and maneuverability.
  • Ricochet Rounds only for added stability.
  • Snapshot Sights for a significant increase in ADS time (aiming down sights).
  • Opening shot for increased aiming assistance and range on the first round of the magazine.

Against other Guardians, especially in 6v6 situations, Perpetual Motion is a better advantage than Snapshot Sights.
